The Gibbons Update: Welcome!

Welcome to The Gibbons Update, a space designed to comment on our modern world – plus reviews, comments and talk about all things digital and high tech, with an emphasis on how they are perceived within the Hollywood entertainment industry.

I produce and direct TV shows, features and digital/new media content, so I'll bring an insider's point of view to everything you read here, whether it's the inner workings of Hollywood, something new on the web, or just some new cool app.

I'm fascinated with all things geek, and love the idea of everyday people being able to use all the amazing new tech tools we now have – that until very recently were only available to professionals – to tell their stories, so you'll see also reviews here as well.
